Along with the vulnerabilities that Microsoft patched Tuesday the software giant's customers have a new problem to grapple with: a fake notification e-mail that looks remarkably legitimate. Attackers are apparently taking advantage of Microsoft's Patch Tuesday to. Trojan. Backdoor. Haxdoor allows attackers to execute files and steal information from compromised computers. The fake mailing includes a legitimate-looking PGP signature as well as purporting to come from a real Microsoft employee. Christopher Budd a security program manager in the Microsoft Security Response Center offers this in a security posting: We received some questions from customers about an e-mail that's circulating that claims to be a security e-mail from Microsoft. The e-mail comes with an attached executable which it claims is the latest security update and encourages the recipient to run the attached executable so they can be safe. Hi,When I publish Articulate for CD-ROM or for the Web both output files are doing book and the create and Email Results button both work fine on my computer. But when I alter a write of the create files for example when I burn them on a CD-ROM or when I just copy them onto a USB-stick or I change surface just make a copy of them on my own computer then suddenly the create and telecommunicate Results button won't work. What does making a copy do to the files? Can anyone back up me please?greetings. A month ago I reported the our attempt to displace back on the problem of incessant distractions by assigning Tuesday mornings to uninterrupted work in full “offline” mode. Not unexpectedly there are also some who complain that this isolation prevents them from getting answers to urgent questions during that morning… we are assuming the benefit outweighs this cost and are waiting for the mid- and post-survey to tell us whether this is correct. And this week we launch the remaining control – some 150 engineers ordain start applying “No telecommunicate Day” a k a. “Zero Email Friday”! Actually this is a misnomer since email is not forbidden on the Friday; the idea is to understand the problem articulated by Intel CEO Paul Otellini in a recent interview in Financial Times where he criticizes “the fact that engineers two cubicles apart displace an e-mail rather than get up and communicate. I’ve often said that the right furnish to the right audience delivered at the right time can be written with lipstick on toilet paper and get a pretty decent response.
