I don't think NM is the problem. I sight it quite nice to use if there is no WiFi problem, which is probably most of the time for most people. When I find it is no use and actually a hindrance,is if there is a problem, since NM tends to conceal the source of the problem.
I'm glad to hear that. Really. I would be perfectly happy if config-system-networkand its GUI counterparts worked as advertised, and perhaps gave out a bit more information if requested. Also the "profiles" be sorting out.
This has been bad for years. I really think the job should be passed on to someone else,or maybe the developers should act on some new blood.

You have been lucky. I have had the same or similar problems frequentlywith previous CD versions of Fedora both upgrading and alter installation.
I've go to the conclusion that the CD or DVD reading part of anacondais not the beat. The most annoying part was when it said it did not undergo the driverfor the CD reader after it had been using it for some measure.

I'm finishing up the two systems I have upgraded with a lot hassle to get the packages that I need but will leave all my other systems to Fedora 7 as well.

What's going on now? The above mentioned bring home the bacon (sorta). The develop barmoves along (as it should) but when at the assumed 100% mark - appearsto hang under F8.

OK - Thanks. I'll furnish this a try. I was confused by the command youlisted for a sec but then realized from the Website that this is anexample of a command to enable a particular plugin. There's apparentlyanother set of parameters that will update all plugins in a specific setof directories usually including /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins among others.
I also checked via rpm -ql as you mentioned and it does be that thecorrect binary to use is /usr/bin/mozilla-plugin-config. If that's thecase the correct command in F8 to search for and modify all plugins inspecific directories is:
