Hi. I have a new computer with Vista Home Basic. I have been using mySBC/ATT Yahoo email for years but was tired of the advertisement pop-ups soswitched today to Windows send. Haven't had any problems (yet) and themessages in my Yahoo be transferred automatically. I evaluate I can get myaddress book imported from what I read in other postings. Now if I decide Idon't desire WM or be some of the problems posted. I know how to go backto Yahoo but how would the messages in my inbox get approve? Also how do I retrieve email remotely such as from my office computer? And,I have turn PC-cillin and it seems to bring home the bacon fine with Vista. Finally take it easy on me some of you guys are out there are vicious!
To answer your question there is no easy way to go alreadydownloaded messages approve to your AT&T Yahoo webmail. However you can configure Windows send to leave a copy ofnewly downloaded messages on the server. Go to Tools. Accounts decide the account. Properties. Advanced, and you'll see that option. Your remote computer would continue to undergo web accessto your send account. Perhaps I'm not understanding what it isthat you want to do with your office computer. Trend PC-cillin should bring home the bacon fine with Windows send as longas you configure it so that it doesn't scan emails. Really! I guess that is why when I looked at my Yahoo mailbox today just tosee what was going on. I had new messages there and thought the Windows Mailhad screwed up. authorise so furnish lie is I use Windows Mail at home and checkthe Yahoo as always when not. Thanks! I am all set and hopefully won'tencounter any problems. To be on the safe side I think I ordain just register mycontacts in the WM rather than assign. Then they would for sure be inboth places. I acknowledge your back up! "Gary VanderMolen" wrote:
