Dear all,Is there a way working round the following problem:Pictures in my notes are not displayed when I send them via eMail. The text gets correctly displayed in the communicate window of the eMail but the pictures are left out and replaced by red crosses. I tried that out in MS Outlook. The attachment (enx register) is correctly transferred and creates a correct say in Evernote but in the communicate text the pictures are left out. undergo any of you witnessed a similar problem?convey you very much in advance!Stephan
I don't use the email feature but what it sounds desire is more of an Outlook problem. I seem to recall that there's a security setting that tells Outlook to not show images. If you go to Tools/Options/Security tab. Then be under "Downloaded Pictures". There's a add there should be called "Change Automatic Download Settings...". Then you'll see this:
Yes. I undergo seen the exact same problem. I concur with Crane's diagnosis. I used a somewhat different technique in Outlook 2007 to fix the problem (since I did undergo picture display enabled using Crane's technique). I added the sender to my "Safe Senders" enumerate after which my installation of Outlook 2007 immediately displayed the pictures.
Thank you very much for your suggestions guys but as far as I experience these settings affect Outlook's behaviour for receiving eMails. But I don't even see a conceive of embedded in an EN-note in my own outgoing editing window when I want to overlap my circumscribe with others. And Outlook surely wouldn't distrust me as the sender?BTW - do these checkboxes really have to be checked? I mean the first one of them says "Don't download transfer pictures automatically". So if it's checked it won't do that but if it's unchecked it should actually make Outlook download any picture automatically. !?Thanks very much for your help so far - maybe we can sight out why Outlook won't let me send pictures embedded in my EN-notes...- Stephan

Also which editor are you using within Outlook the built-in editor (in older versions of Outlook befor Outlook 2007) or MS Word? If MS evince what version? If you are using an older version of Outlook can you see the pictures from EverNote in one editor (perhaps the built-in editor which always used to work for me in Outlook 2000) but not in the other? Or can you never see pictures no be which telecommunicate editor you use?Sorry. I undergo to recalibrate my hit now that I understand you are talking about not being able to see pictures in your e-mail on your machine before you change surface send the e-mail out. If you write and attach a picture from your internet browser and attach it into an e-mail communicate can you see that pasted image? In other words can you EVER see a picture in your unsent e-mail?Whether you can see the picture in Outlook on your system or not can any recipient see the pictures? Can you look at a message you send on your ISP's web interface to your e-mail? If you have a Gmail be can you see the pictures in Gmail even though you could not see them before you sent them out to Gmail from Outlook?
I just used Snagit to act a conceive of of the screen and attach it into Outlook 2003 using word and send it to another of my gmail accounts works finethanks. I had tried before but didn't bring home the bacon. Perhaps because I have html selected as my email format.- ads
If you write and paste a conceive of from your internet browser and paste it into an e-mail message can you see that pasted visualise? In other words can you EVER see a conceive of in your unsent telecommunicate?
Yes I do. Most of the measure I can see pictures. I can even see pictures when I copy the text and pictures of an EN-article into a mail message. I just can't see it when using the "displace to..." command. There seems to be a problem in the communication of Outlook and EN.
You are correct. Outlook 2007 only allows you to use Microsoft Word as your editor for telecommunicate messages. There is no longer a displace built-in special-purpose telecommunicate editor within Outlook 2007. I asked because I used to use Outlook 2000 which had both a special-purpose built-in e-mail editor and permitted you to use Microsoft evince. I used to undergo a set of difficult problems that gave different behaviors between the two editors when I was attempting to e-mail notes directly from within the EverNote via Outlook 2000. But my old problem set does not bear on to you. You are using Outlook 2007 (thank you for the information) and thus you have no choices as to any alternative telecommunicate editor. You are using Microsoft Word 2007. Oops gratify let me confirm that you are using Microsoft Word 2007 change by reversal? Or do you undergo an older version of evince installed such as perhaps Word 2003?P. S.: Oops my bad allergies are messing with my express recognition software. I be to a much better job of proof-reading.
I believe everything you are telling us. I am baffled. I am thinking that your non-display of EverNote pictures in an Outlook 2007-invoked evince 2007 editing session has to be an Outlook 2007 setting. But it could be a evince 2007 setting (Word allows you to hold back whether pictures or displayed or just place-holders.) I have the same Office 2007 set-up you do. I will keep probing the settings to see if I can replicate your problem. alter now I am completely stumped.
Mhm... I have been trying to change some settings regarding images in MS evince and Outlook but I still can't get any pictures into the messaging window when sending them to Outlook. The affect is that I can't change surface cozen Outlook by e g copying EN-articles and pasting them into the message window because when I be to displace multiple articles I cannot highlight a bring together of entries and copy them in one go. Copying is only possible in editing mode I understood. Regards,Stephan
Thanks for asking Leo! I am using EverNote Portable 2.1 and the Office Suite 2007 including evince 2007 and Outlook 2007. I can without a problem displace articles from EN to Outlook. The text is displayed in the composition window and the attachment (enx-File) is included. The only thing that doesn't work is the pictures embedded in my articles. They are not shown in the composition window but are replaced with a red go across. This only happens when sending articles to Outlook by using the "displace to Mail Recipient" command in EN. When I manually write and paste EN-articles into an Outlook composition window there is no problem and pictures are displayed properly. Thank you very much for your back up!- Stephan
What actually happens when EN exports an bind to the eMail client?Does EN do the same thing that is done in "Copy and attach"?I don't evaluate so because - as I said - pictures ARE displayed when I Copy and attach an bind but they aren't when I use the "displace to telecommunicate Client" dominate. I'm asking this because I just paid attention to the "Red go across"-symbol that is displayed instead of the conceive of in the composition window. And apart from the Red go across it says something about "The linked conceive of cannot be displayed. Probably the register was moved somewhere else renamed or deleted. Make sure that the link points to the change by reversal register and the correct.
