Kenya's leading mobile phone operator Safaricom said on Thursday said it had teamed up with US search engine giant Google to offer a free email service to subscribers. "If you are already a data customer you have it," said Safaricom's chief Michael Joseph. Joseph Mucheru of Kenya's Google office said Safaricom was in a position to provided broadband services across Kenya with the acquisition of a 3G licence: 3g or third generation technology offers more advanced services. Safaricom which is 60 percent owned by Telkom Kenya and 40 percent by Vodafone is preparing to launch its 3G service in Kenya. Analysts say Google is eager to become the key search engine for mobile phones and to get the advertising revenues that are starting to become available for the platform.

During the past two weeks. I've logged 16,000 flight miles. Just flew from New York to San Francisco measure night on a pip that was delayed as usual. I call in my sushi order at Ebisu's SFO location from my cell phone once I land and Joe now answers the phone takes my request and says. "Christina right? See you soon." And the flying isn't done. After a 12-hour layover. I am returning to SFO my back up home. Jeremy and I are finally going on our belated honeymoon to Japan and Vietnam. We leave for the airport in 45 minutes. I'm not dressed. I haven't eaten. I haven't finished packing. But I've been through this enough to have the confidence to sit here and type for a few minutes instead of freaking out. That moment will go in about 40 minutes. populate are congratulating us as if we just got married and I inform that we undergo rescheduled our holiday three times thanks to me wanting to decide what I wish to be the two most dead inactive weeks in the have market to travel. I was concerned about being out of touch for so long when my boss's boss offered up the option of turning on the international roaming plan for my blackberry. He said to consider it a weddding present. I told him that I was quite sure my preserve would be to return that gift if he could. Nonetheless roaming telecommunicate service will back up us stay in touch so I'm in favor of it. I'm not the type of person who enjoys completely escaping. You can run but you can't hide if something is blowing up. I'd rather know about it. And some of my dad's test results will be coming back next week. My mom has informed me that my dad has no intention of being sick again. I wish stage 4 cancer listens. I'll post photos after the fact but hopefully I'll be updating the blog regularly during our adventures. Fingers crossed that the GPS system will work; I've had only moderate luck with it in Boston and no luck in Manhattan. If during the next two weeks you see a 5'5" woman swimming in a black cheat Sony cover that's a bit too big and taking pictures throughout Tokyo. Cu Chi. HCMC. Hanoi and Halong Bay it's very likely me. If she pulls out a blackberry especially when her travel partner has his back turned and is typing feverishly (I have highly developed thumb skills) it's definitely me.

"Killing Spam At The Source" posted by ~Ray

If you create verbally a blog you might be tempted at certain times to ask populate to contact you by e-mail for a certain service or to act advantage of a particular promotion. In doing so you’ll furnish your e-mail address and hyperlink it so that it becomes easier for those wanting to act advantage of your offer to do so. I’d desire to encourage you before you do so don’t! I esteem your willingness to give useful and efficient service and if you desire getting spammed then go alter ahead with your plan. If not then I have some alternative suggestions for you. Spammers and email marketers undergo been known to send their robots out to crawl hyperlinks in cyberspace. When they find a mail link it’s food for their spambots. You’ll get lots of unwanted send. I affirm you. But you don’t undergo to do it that way. Instead list your telecommunicate without hyperlinking it. That’s one alternative though not the best choice. Spambots won’t be able to crawl it since it isn’t a link but they can comfort construe the circumscribe and make note of it. Then some human somewhere in a remote part of the world will manually enter it into their robot for future spam compose. Bots can read this text but don’t recognize it as an telecommunicate communicate so it takes care of the problem listed above where a human manually enters your address into a spambot’s files. But humans can still make this out to be an email address. If a person is a spammer they can comfort add your email to their enumerate and you’ll comfort get a little bit of spam (though not as much). The best way to combat e-mail on your blog is to add a page with a contact form on it. You can get the label for creating content forms just about anywhere on line. There are even some services that will create a create for you. But by including a communicate create that populate undergo to fill out with a CAPTCHA included you’ll go a long way to cut down spam. Humans can still get past the CAPTCHA but you’ll get a lot less spam with a contact form. Alternatively you can put your communicate form on your website and link to it from the communicate. Either way is fine as long as you aren’t giving away your email address to the spammers.
