The National Court ruled that the archdiocese of Valencia in eastern Spain should note in its baptismal records that Manel Blat González a 41-year old union worker had left the church. The decision was a symbolic blow to the church which faces a dwindling flock and disenchantment among a once-devout people who see it as increasingly out of step with modern life. Blat who was baptized 40 years ago sent several applications to the church to have his name expunged from baptismal records after he became disillusioned by what he saw as the church’s narrow attitudes. Blat who is gay said he was particularly angered by the church’s stance on same-sex marriage which is legal in Spain. “I felt I was part of an organization that neither wanted nor respected people like me,” Blat said in a telephone interview. “The church doesn’t represent my values.” The archdiocese refused Blat’s request arguing that baptismal records were historic documents that could not be altered. Blat turned to the Data Protection Agency which sued the archdiocese on the basis that all data collected about private individuals should be kept up to date and conserved for as long as strictly relevant. The archdiocese appealed a ruling in the data protection agency’s favor in May last year but the appeal was dismissed Oct. 10. Artemi Rallo head of the agency said it has handled about 250 similar cases on behalf of people who had encountered resistance when they tried to have their names removed from church records. Most cases had been resolved but the archdioceses of Valencia and Madrid had taken about 100 cases to court he said. The Spanish Episcopal Conference declined to comment Friday but said that baptismal records were not used to calculate the size of the Spanish church congregation or as a basis for the allotment of state funds. Asa deci pt un mega blat cu vanilie avem nevoie de:- 4 oua- o cana de zahar- o cana de faina- un plic praf de copt- 50ml apa- 50ml ulei- vanilie - eu am ales o fiola de vanilie si un pliculet de vanilie bourbon- o lingura de coaja de lamaieSe fierbe apa si zaharul pana se topeste zaharul si se obtine un sirop. Se bat albusurile spuma cat de tare apoi se adauga in fir subtire siropul. Separat se freaca galbenusurile si uleiul. Peste albusurile batute spuma cu sirop se pun galbenusurile vanilia praful de copt stins cu otel faina in ploaie si coaja de lamaie. Compozitia se toarna intr-o forma de tort unsa cu unt si tapetata bine cu faina. Se tine la cuptor cca. 20-25 de minute in functie de cuptor in principiu pana trece testul scobitorii. Blatul astfel obtinut se poate umple cu diferite creme sau folosit pentru rulade si ce va mai trece voua prin capsor. Pont pentru gospodinele compassionate au un cuptor naravas ca al meu care arde tot ce prinde: cand tapetati forma de tort puneti pe fund mai multa faina. Astfel daca e sa se arda se arde stratul de faina si e foarte usor de indepartat cu un cutit de paine.

Hey who said it could be fall yet? I walked out to the car today and discovered it was plastered with leaves…yellow leaves.
