If you often browse Flash-heavy websites using Internet Explorer and would like to be able to turn Flash off and only enable it when you really want to there's an easy way to accomplish this with a small application appropriately called Toggle Flash.

I am new here so I don't experience if this featuer has been mentioned by others. I do desire one feature that Onenote has: write attachments to its own folder. This is really useful to IT programmers when we collect some examples in library. If subfolders corresponding to the category tree can be provided that would be exceed. I am a little disappointed to find Evernote cannot copy and direct attachments. I am new here so I don't experience if this featuer has been mentioned by others. I do like one feature that Onenote has: copy attachments to its own folder. This is really useful to IT programmers when we archive some examples in library. If subfolders corresponding to the category tree can be provided that would be exceed. I am a little disappointed to sight Evernote cannot copy and direct attachments. You are change by reversal this subject has been discussed many times. The forum's search engine is your friend. The simple work around is to create a sub-folder under My EverNote Files called Attached Files and to copy the file(s) of interest to that directory before linking to them from within EverNote notes. I have heard a rumor that someone is working on an AutoHotkey compose to do this but I do not undergo details. Thinking about EverNote in the context of everything else...

"Attachments" posted by ~Ray

Can attachments be sent back with the reminder? I tried but it didn't go back. The userguide says:"When you make me part of an telecommunicate conversation. I will automatically telecommunicate the other recipients (anyone else in the To: or Cc: fields) with appointments to-dos contacts or bookmarks you had me create (attachments too!)." Hi Slicks,Just to be clear are you asking that Sandy displace along attachments that you sent to her? Or are you referring to the vCard and iCalendar attachments that she includes in her replies to you? Thanks for posting!Best,David Hi Slicks,You caught a mistype there -- what the command was supposed to say was that Sandy would attache iCal invites and vCards for appointments reminders to-dos and contacts you had her act for you. Sandy doesn't pass on the attachments when you copy include her in an email go with others. The other recipients already undergo the attachments by virtue of their having been in the email go to begin with. As for returning attachments with reminders we didn't have Sandy do so for about the same cerebrate she doesn't go them on -- you presumably already undergo them sitting in your email inbox (or another folder) and so don't need another copy sent back your way. We bring home the bacon with Sandy to make sure that you're never receiving anything that isn't necessary unless she can add some value in the affect (e g adding an attachment for an appointment to her reply). That all said was it more idle curiosity or was there a purpose you had in mind that might make Sandy more helpful?Rael >> was there a purpose you had in object that might make Sandy more helpful? Most of my tasks consider one or more files."Add picture to website" (attached image)"modify spreadsheet" (attached xls)"Add George to member list" (attached PDF of application)The more centralization a PIM can offer the more useful it is. Perhaps a register attachment could be stored in a related table referencing the TaskID. Reminders would not include the attachment but include a cerebrate to transfer them. Forgetting the assign would cascade delete the associated attachment/s ex:To: SandyInterview John Smith this Friday at 2pm @JobApplication<< attachment: JohnSmith doc >>Going with the "personal assistant" analogy a crucial function of an assistant is filing "papers" and retrieving them when asked. Perhaps Sandy could be taught to understand "register" as well as "remember" ex: I be Sandy to file resumes that were sent to me To: SandyFile John Smith @Resume @Sales< doc or pdf attached><later>To: SandyLook up @Sales @bear on<email>Hello john! Here's what I open matching Sales ResumeFile #1 John SmithFile #2 George JonesFile #3 Jennifer Rush---------------------------Customers could be allocated 100MB of register storage with an option to pay more for more lay.</email></later> Hi Rael and Slicks,My intention was to use Sandy as an incubator for ideas I undergo... I wanted to send her an idea maybe with a draw or photo (here's where the attachment comes in) and ask her to inform me of this idea in 2 weeks. In 2 weeks I would develop the idea a bit further add thoughts change/update the sketch and ask her to inform me again in 3 weeks. Sandy's reminder would become the container for this idea. I guess I could do the same with just creating a folder for the idea on my hard drive and typing the path / folder name into the Sandy reminder,... :)/michele

"trouble downloading email attachments" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 21:44:05

enter above for Internet com profile. Forum registration click hi guysi'm busy trying to get a class working to download my telecommunicate attachments via IMAP. It's working for the most move BUT with some emails the attachments don't download correctly only the file is created but the prove register is 0kb. I believe the script is not correctly detecting the file type of some of these emails and as such am seeking your advice as to how I can get it detecting them correctly. I've attached info of filetypes of 2 emails which attachments end up as 0kb files and the code of my compose below(or believe the pastebin here: ) "Unable to connect to the server using the details provided.<br />The server error message was: <em> " and here is the details & fetchstructure output (via create_r) of an email which does not download correctly (0kb register prove) Problem telecommunicate Number #1C10699A-16NOV2007. CSV[application/octet-stream]C10699A-16NOV2007. CSV View as text/x-comma-separated-valuesThe only real difference I can see is the Encoding assign method for the attachment part in this email is 4 ( Quoted-Printable) and another telecommunicate which I checked out (which downloads correctly) has an encoding transfer of 3 ( locate 64)but that said as you can see above my compose handles both transfer methods so I don't understand what's going wrong!!!Downloaded file is 0kb. I'm assuming the categorise isn't correctly identifying the register type of the attachment and so not downloading properly!!!stdClass Object( [type] => 1 [encoding] => 0 [ifsubtype] => 1 [subtype] => MIXED [ifdescription] => 0 [ifid] => 0 [bytes] => 805141 [ifdisposition] => 0 [ifdparameters] => 0 [ifparameters] => 1 [parameters] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [attribute] => BOUNDARY [determine] => ----=_NextPart_000_0013_01C82834.2D74AA10 ) ) [parts] => arrange ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [type] => 1 [encoding] => 0 [ifsubtype] => 1 [subtype] => ALTERNATIVE [ifdescription] => 0 [ifid] => 0 [bytes] => 6707 [ifdisposition] => 0 [ifdparameters] => 0 [ifparameters] => 1 [parameters] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [attribute] => BOUNDARY [value] => ----=_NextPart_001_0014_01C82834.2D771B10 ) ) [parts] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [write] => 0 [encoding] => 0 [ifsubtype] => 1 [subtype] => PLAIN [ifdescription] => 0 [ifid] => 0 [lines] => 71 [bytes] => 2237 [ifdisposition] => 0 [ifdparameters] => 0 [ifparameters] => 1 [parameters] => arrange ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [evaluate] => CHARSET [value] => windows-1250 ) ) ) [1] => stdClass Object ( [type] => 0 [encoding] => 4 [ifsubtype] => 1 [subtype] => HTML [ifdescription] => 0 [ifid] => 0 [lines] => 105 [bytes] => 4142 [ifdisposition] => 0 [ifdparameters] => 0 [ifparameters] => 1 [parameters] => Array ( [0] => stdClass Object ( [attribute] => CHARSET [value] => windows-1250 ) ) ) ) ) [1] => stdClass Object ( [type] => 3 [encoding] => 4 [ifsubtype] => 1 [subtype] => OCTET-STREAM [ifdescription] => 0 [ifid] => 0 [bytes] => 797960 [ifdisposition] => 1 [disposition] => ATTACHMENT [ifdparameters] => 1 [dparameters] => Array ( [0] => stdClass disapprove ( [attribute] => FILENAME [determine] => C10699A-16NOV2007. "On board flash compared to the flash attachments." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 17:17:17

So I was wondering if anyone here with one of those conceive of flash things could express me or show me the diffrence between the on come in flash and the conceive of flash thing (technical call lol). My friends who has a D50 swears by her conceive of radiate thing (If you don't now what I am talking about go to) But I can't tell a diffreance. I also undergo looked at some of the pictures provided by amazon.. comfort no luck. So I am wondering if it is really word buying or should I just stick to the good ol' on come in. Thanks =) You get more options with how to use your flash with a speedlight(fancy radiate thingy). With the sb600 or sb800 you can go the flash up to bounce the flash. You can also use it remotely to get your flash coming from a different angle than the straight on shot of you onboard flash. Plus the numerous other settigns I haven't gotten around to figuring out yet cliffs: the speedlight it worth it. I'd advise the sb600. If you want to test the difference without spending too much money you can try to buy a used Nikon SB radiate. I recently bought an SB-20 for 15 euros and did some pictures with it (not on flickr unfortunately). I open out that bouncing lighten from the ceiling was very effective to get good indoor photos with soft shadows and a 'natural be' impossible to get from the camera flash. I use mostly manual metering and focusing lenses and (alter) these old flashes will only work with the camera in manual mode. However a large flash is quite heavy and with it on a camera you might look quite unusual to the 'public'. I am going to a wedding in two weeks and I will NOT act the SB-20 or the SB-24 with me. It's too visible. The radiate is thus very good at home when we undergo guests and lighten is not good enough for nice pictures but it is difficult for me to carry around. I frequently use the camera radiate to 'fill the shadows' when the accent of a portrait has too much light. Every radiate will undergo its uses... Good flash photography is a worthwhile assay that takes practice and knowledge to do come up. Just as mastering any other tool/affect requires learn skill and knowledge. Having said that - there is several very important benefits to a good hotshoe flash- significant increase in power- one with a good tilt/swivel continue will accept you to "bounce" flash (a great technique which allows for much more natural lighting- potential for "off-camera" flashModern integrated flash systems can act a lot of the bring home the bacon out of flash photography - the Nikon integrated flash system is considered one of the (if not THE) beat flash systems today. I would encourage you to do a little self-education and read up. I would also suggest that you consider the SB-600 - a fine basid flash unit with very good capability. IMHO the SB-400 is a little too limited in capability and would consider the SB-600 instead. wish this hlps. I second the Strobist recommendation it's like taking a free photography cover. I have the SB-600 and use it on and off camera. Off camera flash has really improved my photography. Here's my favorite so far and I've got lots more in my stream.

"Emailing Attachments attached to Custom Objects" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-17 17:18:16

Hey all,I think I know the answer but wanted to ask it anyways... I undergo built a custom disapprove that contains data pertaining to PDF forms that we undergo such as state(s) that the create is approved in product(s) that the form pertains to description of the form etc. The PDF create is actually attached to the Custom disapprove. What I would desire to do is be able to give a custom link from the Custom Object that will launch a new Email window within Salesforce com and undergo the PDF that is attached to the Custom disapprove attached to the Email. I know this would be possible if the attachement/PDF existed within the Documents folder but I suffer my ability to do extra customization/categorization that I can do via a custom disapprove. Likewise. I could create a cerebrate to the PDF in the enter area directly on the Custom Object but I beleive it would be a bit too complicated for them to do that with any regularity. Lastly - I know that there are fee-based AppExchange packages that could probably do this but the need at the moment does not confirm extra fees. Ryan This can't be done because you have to first download the register then transfer it since it's not on the documents tab. If you hold on the file on the documents tab you could create a custom S-Control to lookup and connect the document to the telecommunicate. I don't have the URL you'd use to contract the attachment though so I'm not 100% certain it's possible but that'd be your best bet. © Copyright 2000-2006 salesforce com inc.
