I have yet to find ONE SINGLE PERSON that supports this policy that would rather NOT undergo the ability to send MMS. I suspect there may be a few IT managers that would rather not have it on their fleets but doesn't it make more sense to block it for them than kill it for everybody?There has been some success integrating MMS packages from other carriers into run's windows mobile devices. However this does nothing for BlackBerry users (8130) who can't MMS at all without the appropriate function books.

Alltel follows up to change state the second network in the US to open HTC's next-gen CDMA Windows Mobile 6 Professional handset (Alltel's place claims it's Windows Mobile 5 but we're not believing that -- check the screen shots) offering WiFi stereo Bluetooth. 2 megapixel cam and just about all the EV-DO you can command as the HTC. He's been telling me for a while that this would be released with WM5 but WM6 would be available as a free download within a month. Will it be a good phone as well? Also does it still have the Wi-Fi capability?Thanks I bought it yesterday and let me say this phone is possibly one of the biggest pains in the asses I have ever dealt with. There is so much capability yet no way to know how to use it as the user guide is maybe all of 30 pages long and useless. I have been fiddling nonstop with it and still an unsure how to do anything with it. It is a nice telecommunicate but its a major pain. I have been using this phone for about two weeks now. I really don't undergo any complaints about it at all. It is loaded to the teeth with ability but as one said before it can be a pain in the butt. It took me several hours to figure it all out but now it's pretty easy. One thing I like about it is the ease with which one can change SDCards. The place where they plug-in is in the bottom of the deck and is spring loaded just release one and put a new one in. check out the first time you use it it might fly across the room like exploit did. The spring is pretty strong! Since I have several ram modules. I file what I want on each one so it doesn't act a lot of time to sight what I want since they are so easy to interchange. There is a hold that plugs into a USB port on your desktop or laptop. It can be used to sync your files work as a modem for a laptop and all while recharging itself off the USB. The keys on the keyboard are small of course but once you get used to them and figure out where everything is and how it works its very efficient. The check is very well lit but it tends to process out in bright sunlight but then who stands in the bright sun and types on a smartphone anyway unless one is in the leave. There is lots to desire about this system. I came over to this from a Razer so its been a big jump for me. Still it was made much easier because it is Windows based and if one has a good understanding of windows then it's pretty easy. Microsoft seems to undergo a fairly good support system in place for mobile as come up. Alltel also has good support with bunco wait times if any. I know it has made my day to day workload much easier and I have just about anything I want literally at my finger tips. The Windows Mobile 6 upgrade is out and available on HTC's website (support downloads for Alltel devices). This seems to be a bit more stable than the WM5 version and seems to undergo been worth the wait. I saw a post earlier about GPS and according to my sources all the companies are waiting for something to come from HTC to enable that give... I guess now it's a waiting bet to see who gets it first. I undergo paid for the HTC 6800 and I was anticipating it's delivery Monday or Tuesday.. now Alltel has told me that it is on back-order indefinitely because according to them "they do not be to flood the market". What the heck??! Why advertise a telecommunicate that you don't want consumers to undergo yet you comfort act the money for it???? Obviously none of you had this issue b/c you all have your telecommunicate but has anyone else heard this madness?? I be MY PHONE!!!!!!!! They sure did not hesitate taking the money for it!!!!!!!!!! Please anybody help me how to set up the email on the MotoQ all of us here in the office has the same problem. We set up the email on MotoQ but it does not bring home the bacon. Alltel give can't back up at all. I bought a Treo 700wx a couple of weeks ago but the email has never worked quite right. It seems to come in to the device ok but deletes it within about 30 seconds. It doesn't go into the inbox or delete folder - change surface when I tell it to. It just vanishes altogether. What's the deal on this? My email account is through Charter. Thanks for any help. Go to messaging and select menu delivery preferences. Tap on the filters tab. Is only show messages from the measure ____ days checked and how many days is it set to? You may also be to very that this setting is matched in the email setup. In messaging go to menu tools options and select your email account. Tap next until you are on step 4 then select options. On step 2 of options make sure this screen matches the delivery preferences. If it does and email comfort disappears. I would remove and arouse the email account. Same problem here............... I can sit at my desktop computer and check my POP messages hit the Outlook and I ordain get half of the messages on my touch 700 WX on the same POP be....... Yahoo doesnt work on it................... it deletes message on it own.................... its very temperamental.................... the Handango applications wont bring home the bacon on the telecommunicate........ I am fed up with it and I am taking it back to Alltel and will try a Blackberry.................. I undergo had it for three weeks now. Hi All - Ok here's what I did. I tried the steps that TechSupport offered but no go. Still did the same thing. So I went back to Alltel and a techie there spent a couple of hours trying to figure out the problem. Still no help. I ended up trading the Treo in for Alltel's HTC PPC6800 their say to the iPhone. I loved everything about the device but it comfort did the same thing with the email! I finally got an Alltel tech support person on the phone who relayed that when you're away from your computer you need to change state DOWN the email program - Outlook in my case. That way the emails go into your phone and stay. But as long as you have the email program open on your computer they'll go into that schedule instead of your telecommunicate. So apparently that's the secret. You don't be to shut down your computer. Just shut down the email program and you're good to go with email on the phone. But as soon as you change state up your email program on your computer all the previous emails will disappear out of your telecommunicate (but they'll still be on your computer). And BTW. I've been able to get my TREO 700wx to displace and recieve pics (also WM5) but incoming pics are still wacky and I'm playing with settings. Pictures I send to people (sent some to my wifes Hue) were sent and recieved by her just book. The thread starter was able to get his 6700 to completely send/recieve normal. Unless there's something odd in the Q firmware (like its inability to do threaded SMS) I don't see why the same stuff he talks about in his thread wouldn't bring home the bacon maybe on a Q too. There is no way to use actual MMS on the Alltel Q. This above is for touch screen. Again.. there is no way to use actual mms on the Alltel Q. I am sure if someone does sight something or Alltel suddenly change by reversal this there will be a post immediately. I really wish so. I undergo whined forever for a good telecommunicate and when I finally got what I wanted it didn't have something that a 'little' phone has. Kinda disappointing and almost aiming toward an U account with a new telecommunicate. I really wish so.
